Beekeeping Courses & Exams


“An Introduction to Bees and Beekeeping” short course ran by NSBKA President Dr William Kirk and Bob Parsonage is to be held on 2 linked Saturdays (10 am-5pm) at Keele University more info in the Huxley Building *(Campus Map - Adobe pdf reader icon ). Dates as yet are not fixed but are expected to be around May & June 2007. This course explains the principles and practice of beekeeping in an informal atmosphere, with an opportunity to observe and handle bees. The course will give beginners the knowledge to start beekeeping if they wish. Contact the Centre for Continuing and Professional Education at Keele University on 08452015813 for more details.
